The standards are detailed, expensive to buy and written for people who already understand them. A lot of the guidance online is written to sell a product. And the people who know the answer are often too busy, or too expensive, to ask. So the same questions come up again and again, on our courses, in audits and in our inbox. What changed in the latest edition of IEC 60079-14? Which cable gland do I need? What will the auditor want to see? How do I prove my team is competent? ## Why did we rebuild our website? We wanted our website to work as a resource for the people who need it, not just a brochure about us. insightEx is about making Ex compliance **accessible and affordable**. Answering common questions properly, in public and for free, is the most direct way to do that. The new site is built around the questions we are always asked.
